Together with my client I discuss the project, and where possible provide a price quotation for materials and work in advance.

For reconstruction I start with a thorough investigation into the history of the object. Materials, design, and typefaces will then be faithfully replicated, and if possible original production techniques will be used to come as close as possible to the original.

Data plates

Data plates are used to identify parts. It is template in which particular data can be engraved or stamped by numerical dies. We produce them in different materials like copper, aluminum, aluminum foil or composites.

Placards

Cockpit placards were usually made of copper, aluminum, or composite material. I use different techniques including milling, engraving, and etching according to design and use.

Markings

Exterior and interior markings can be applied in several ways according to use and durability. Design, production, and application is part of our job.

Instruments

Transforming modern instruments by replacing existing instrument face plates with reconstructed old style face plates and hands using the correct period fonts and symbols and the historically correct colours.

Edge lit panels

These panels mostly used in cockpit side consoles were in use from late in the second world war until right into the 80's. I use original production methods.
